Sward Bernice L., age 99, of Jones-Harrison Residence, Mpls. Longtime member and former secretary of Joyce United Methodist Church. Died on January 27, 2002. She was a devoted Christian who was loved by everyone. She had a lovely spirit and will be missed. She was preceded in death by husband, Carl; son-in-law, Kenneth Peterson. She is survived by daughters, Marjorie Peterson of Mpls, Shirley Stevens & husband John of DeLand, FL; son, Roger & wife Sandra of Mpls; 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Memorial service Sat., Feb. 2, 1 pm at Joyce United Methodist Church, 1219 W. 31st St., Mpls. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the church. Cremation Society MN Edina 952-924-4100
