Pierson Bernice L., age 88, of Mora, MN, passed away March 4 at Augustana Home of Mpls. Retired elementary school secretary for Eliot School, St Louis Park. Preceded in death by husband, John K.; brothers, Lawrence and Robert. Survived by son & daughter-in-law, John L. & Maxine; 4 grandchildren, Ann (David) Claxton, Nathan Pierson, Kristina (Bob) Vandenberg and Mindy Pierson; 2 great-granddaughters, Sophia Claxton and Kiara Vandenberg; sister, Jeannette Lorentzen; brother, Harold ''Babe'' Lorentzen; sisters-in-law, Helen Lorentzen, Edna Lorentzen, Bee Wheeler and Martha Pierson; dear nieces, nephews and friends. Graveside services will be conducted at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery for Bernice & John, who passed away December 21, 2001.
