Mattson Bernice Eleanore, 81, died 7-27-02, after a long life and a brief illness. Survived by husband, Roy; children, Roger (Deanna), Dale (Addie), Jon (Sandra), Michael, Jeanette and Sheila; sister, Lori Bush; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Bernice was a loving mother totally devoted to her family. She cherished times spent with her children and grandchildren. She is loved by many and will be dearly missed although her spirit lives on in our hearts. The family extends a special thank you to the staff and nurses at Methodist Hospital and Hospice who comforted Bernice in her final days. A service of remembrance will be Thurs., 8-1-02, 1:00 PM at Hope Presbyterian Church, 7132 Portland Ave S., Richfield (612-866-4055). In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. In a later interment in Turtle Lake, WI, Bernice will be laid to rest with family members who have gone before her.
