Casselberry Berlene G., born Feb. 27, 1914 in Middletown, Ohio. Daughter of Olivia Jane & Robert O. Barskin. Preceded in death by husband, Arthur Edward Casselberry & parents. Survived by son, Edward of Mahtomedi; daughter, Shelly (Phil) Harris of Hartford, CT; grandchildren, Camille Lowe (Darrell) Irish of Albuquerque, NM, Tarah & Aaron Casselberry of Mahtomedi, Kendra & Kallie Casselberry of Oakdale. Berlene was a graduate of Fisk University, attended Juliard Music under invitation and finalized her degrees at the New England Conservatory of Music. She taught high school music & history in MA, MN & Albuquerque, NM. Was a lifetime member of America Educators Association. Directed choirs at Parkview United Church of Christ in White Bear Lake & various award-winning choirs across the country. She is further survived by countless students & families she touched along the way. Her passage was long & eventful, beautiful & complete. She was and always will be the music that so many of us hear. Funeral service Tuesday, 10 AM at Parkview United Church of Christ (3737 Bellaire Ave., WBL).
