Smith Benjamin Harrison Smith, of Monticello. Born 10/15/1915, died 05/24/2002. Resident of Mpls. 1946-1977. Electrical engineer, long-time employee of Electric Machinery Mfg. Co. Member of Grace Presybterian Church 1954-1977, Community United Methodist Church 1977-2002. Active in Boy Scouts all his life. Preceded in death by grandson, Paul. Survived by wife, Jeanette; children, Leon (Jane), Frederick (Beverly), Marie, Richard (Linda), and Daniel (Kathy); 6 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. Memorial service Tuesday, June 4, 10:30 AM at Community United Methodist Church in Monticello.
