Bastyr Ben J. Sr., age 91, of Monticello, formerly of Brainerd, died peacefully surrounded by his family at Guardian Angels Care Center on March 9, 2003. Preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra; and son, Stephen. Survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Hope; children, Mick Bastyr, Pat (Chuck) Hanson, Ben Jr. (Bea); grandchildren, Jennifer (Erik) Becker, Erik Hanson, Steven & David Bastyr.
