Beata Adeline Linsted (nee Johnson), of Hopkins/St. Louis Park, in her 92nd year. Born July 25, 1909, passed away Feb. 11, 2002. Loving and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. There were no strangers in her life. Beata took everyone she met directly into her heart. Preceded in death by husband, Reuben G. Linsted; parents, Edward Conrad Sr. & Beda Johnson of Carver County; sister, Olga; brothers, Edward Conrad Jr., Kenneth, Howard and Vincent. Survived by brother & sister-in-law, Clifford & Marion Johnson; daughters & sons-in-law, Janis Beata & John Favorite, Ione Kathleen (Onie) & Bill Webb; grandchildren, Judy (Mike) Mangum, John (Sue) Favorite, Edward (Joy) Favorite, Joseph (Melissa) Favorite, Susan Favorite, Matthew (Debbie) Ceryes, Benjamin Ceryes and Nathan Webb; great-grandchildren, Angela & Katie Pridmore, Jamie & Jenny Favorite, Matthew & John Mangum, Megan & Joshua Favorite, Annaliese & Andrew Favorite; many nieces and nephews. Beata was a devoted 60 year member of Wooddale Lutheran Church and Mary-Martha Circle, lifelong community volunteer and member of the American Swedish Institute and Vastergotlund Society. In celebration of her life, a memorial service will be held on Fri., Feb. 15 at 11:00 AM at Wooddale Lutheran Church, 4003 Wooddale Ave S., St. Louis Park, MN 55416.
