Barbara White Bemis Obituary
Bemis Barbara White, age 87, died peacefully at home in the presence of her family July 10, 2003. Preceded in death by husband, Judson; parents, Edwin & Anne Turney White; brother, William Gardner White. Survived by children, Sandra (John) Roe, Barbara (Joseph) Bartlett, Ellen (John) Pillsbury, Gardner (Patricia), Judson, Jr. (Carol); 18 grandchildren, 7 great- grandchildren. The family is grateful to Patrick Bulen, Beverly Berg, devoted caregivers, and Allina Hospice. A memorial service will be held Monday, August 18 at 12 noon at Church of St. John the Evangelist, 60 Kent St., St. Paul. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Guthrie Theater, Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, or the Twin Cities Opera Guild/Metropolitan Opera Auditions, 1043 Grand Ave., St. Paul 55105.
