NOTE: SERVICE TODAY Barbara E. Tschida (nee Foley), age 90, of West St. Paul. Barbara was born March 27, 1912 and passed away peacefully on August 14, 2002 surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, William. She is survived by daughters, Judy (Carl) Johnson, Sharon (Steve) Doody and Diane Commers; also son, William (Shirley) Tschida; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. We will fondly remember Barbara for her independent spirit, her love of her grandchildren, her phenomenal memory and her celebration of Christmas. She worked as a waitress at O'Gara's for 27 years, retiring at age 62. Mass of Christian Burial 10 am Saturday (TODAY) at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 789 17th Ave N., South St. Paul. Visitation AT CHURCH from 8:30 am until time of Mass Saturday. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Please donate to your favorite charity in lieu of flowers.
