Benton Barbara E., age 31, of Coon Rapids, passed away on January 7, 2003 after a lifetime of suffering and has now gone on to become a very special angel. Born in Sioux City, IA on Aug. 31, 1971, she was a very special gift on loan from God and entrusted to the most caring parents anyone could ask for, especially that of her mother, who was there for her at all times. Survived by parents, Robert & Patricia; siblings, John, Mark, Pat, Sheila (Casey) Jenson, Bobby, Anna (Charlie) and Leith, Chris, Willy, Mary (Robert) Kidd; 18 nieces and nephews, 1 great-niece and 1 great-nephew whom she treated like her own. She was a loving and caring daughter, sister and aunt. She loved music, especially that composed and performed by Jimmy Martin. Her best friend was her dad. She will be missed by many. We would like to give a special thanks to all of her medical and nursing staff at Mercy Medical Center.
