Mendoza August Gregory ''Butch'', age 60, of Mpls, on April 7, 2002. Preceded in death by parents, Augustine & Margaret. Survived by children, Denise Velasco and Gregory August Mendoza; foster child, Jonah L. Hisgun; grandchildren, Jessica Velasco, Jonathan Morin, Jason Morin, Jerel Jones, Serina Velasco and Gregory A. Velasco; great-granddaughter, Yesenia M. Espinoza; sisters, Margaret ''Delia'' Steele, Beatrice ''Bee Bee'' Vasquez, Alicia ''Sarka'' Levy and Adeline ''Del'' Terrant; nieces and nephews. Visitation Monday, April 15, 4- 9 pm and funeral service Tues., April 16, 11 am, with visitation one hour prior, both at First Memorial Waterston Chapel, 4343 Nicollet Ave S., Mpls (612-825-4567). Interment Hillside Cemetery.
