Arthur H. Attleson Obituary

Attleson Arthur H. Attleson, age 82, formerly of Blaine, residing at Park Health & Rehab Center, St. Louis Park, passed away Feb. 7, 2003. Proud Veteran of WW II, the 48th Engineers; Purple Heart recipient. Lifetime member of the VFW; member of American Legion; past member of Coon Rapids Lions Club. A promoter of Golden Gloves boxing, and worked in real estate for 40 years. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Tommy, Noel, and Elmer; sisters, Evelyn Halvorson, Louise Gruwe, and Marie Shaw. Survived by loving wife, Fran; stepdaughters, Florence (Lee) Hesleskrants, Maxine (Tom) Bosley, Dagney Lingen; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials are preferred. Memorial Service 11 AM Weds, with visitation 1 hour prior, at: Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel 1827 Coon Rapids Blvd 763-767-1000
