Mbezal-Farmer Anne Bogam, age 43, passed away Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002. She is survived by her children, Derick, Rosine, Armand, Hugues, and many other loving family members, friends and colleagues. Bogam founded and was president of an organization that advocated for families of children with disabilities in Cameroon. Her commitment to helping children brought her to the University of Minnesota, where she was studying for a Master's of Education degree. A memorial service will be held Friday, Nov. 15, 2002 at 4 PM at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 1201 5th St SE, in Dinkytown. Interment will be her in village in Cameroon. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the Mbezal-Farmer Memorial Fund established to further Bogam's work of improving the lives of children with disabilities worldwide.
