Andrew Grega, age 81, of Golden Valley, died on April 4, of numerous natural causes. Andy is survived by wife, Lee, who was at his bedside. He is also survived by daughter, Laurel Sha (Dr. Ronald), Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Hilary and Grant; sisters, Marian Slusar, Warren, MN and Susan Lindstrom, San Francisco; also many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, John & Suzzana Grega; brothers, George, Thomas, Edward, John and Rudolph; sister, Ann and twin children, Donald and Diane. Andy was in the Coast Guard in WWII and a Minnegasco employee for many years. Special thanks to the Veterans Medical Center who took good care of him over many years. The love of Andy's life was to play cards with his friends, and he rarely missed a card game, health permitting. Service & visitation Tuesday, April 9 at Calvary Lutheran Church, 7520 Golden Valley Rd., at 11 am, with visitation & reviewal one hour prior to service. Private family interment, Hillside Cemetery.
