Benda Alyce S. entered into eternal rest on Feb 2, 2003 in Virginia Beach, VA. Born Alyce Eugenia Sathre in International Falls, MN, she settled in Mpls shortly after her marriage to George Benda. Alyce worked for many years for the Mpls Board of Realtors, for Bermel-Smaby Realtors in Edina and MN Appraisers Assoc. She retired to Virginia Beach, VA, where she sold real estate with Long & Foster. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Erdelac, wife of late husband John P., and Janet B. Totushek (VADM John Totushek); 5 grandchildren, Blayne Erdelac (Nicolle), Tyson Erdelac, Evan Erdelac, Christopher Totushek, and Courtney Totushek; great-granddaughter, Madyson Erdelac. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed. A memorial service will be held at Lakewood Cemetery Chapel in Mpls on Feb. 6, at noon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either the American Diabetes Assoc. or the American Heart Assoc.
