Alton M. Refsal Obituary

Refsal Alton M., passed away January 25 at his home in Richfield. Born February 17, 1912. Died January 25, 2002. Alton lived in St. Paul 1949-55 and worked as an auto mechanic for Hassberger Jones and Young Lincoln Mercury. After moving to Richfield, he was employed at Peterson Mercury in Minneapolis, and retired from Quality Mercury in Bloomington in 1976. Alton served in the U.S. Army Infantry during World War II and was honorably discharged in November 1945. He maintained close family ties and is survived by his wife, Viola Mitchell Refsal, two sons, Todd of Edina, and Kent and daughter-in-law Judy, and grandsons, Andrew and Michael of Laingsburg, Michigan. Funeral Service is scheduled for 1:30 PM January 29 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Westbrook, MN, with interment at Westbrook City Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church, one hour prior to service. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 PM at Oak Grove Lutheran Church in Richfield. January 31, 2002.
