Ostrowsky, Alex "Mousey" An URBAN LEGEND, and great man of Minneapolis was knocked down in the 94th round by flu complications early Thursday morning April 28th in St. Louis Park. Loving father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife and partner of 31 years, Patricia Thomsen Ostrowsky; daughters, Karen Ostrowsky Tukua (Dennis), California, Holly Ostrowsky Rae, New Mexico, Kim Kruise Kelleher, Mpls; grandchildren, nieces and nephews include, Aaron, Sarah and Rebecca Tukua, Azarya and Anna Marie Tukua, Matthew Alex and Alison Pool, Brady Chance Johnson, Don P. Baughman, Pat Doman and Randy Larsen, Joseph and Mimi Jackson. Alex is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph & Ana Ostrowsky; sister, Clara Jackson; brother, Sam Beberman; wife Patricia Faughnan Ostrowsky and his favorite dog, Sandy. Memorial service SUNDAY 11:30 AM, HODROFF-EPSTEIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 126 East Franklin Ave. Mousey was a WWII Veteran. Interment service will be Tuesday at 11:45 AM at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at Assembly Area #4. In lieu of flowers please address tributes to Ms. Natalie Harris "Y" Partners, c/o of the Minneapolis YMCA, 30 So. 9th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55402 to help disadvantage children.
