Morton Alan, age 62 of Edina, passed away of cardiac arrest and went to his Heavenly rest in the arms of God on February 11, 2003. Survived by his wife and best friend, Cheryl; children, Jeanne (Mark) Valverde, Bob Morton, Elizabeth (Mark) Cucciara, James Morton, Tanya Stay; granddog, Goliath; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; mother, Norma Morton; brother, Jan Morton of Columbus, OH; former wife, Nancy R. Morton of Riverside, CA. Alan was an ordained elder in the Presbyterian church. He was a Project Manager for Analysts International Corp. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed the beauty of nature. Visitation 4-8 PM Friday, Washburn-McReavy, Edina Chapel, West 50th St. and Vernon Ave at Hwy 100, Edina. Memorial service 2 PM Saturday, Christ Presbyterian Church, West 70th St. at Hwy 100, Edina. Private interment. Memorials preferred to Habitat for Humanity, 121 Habitat St., Americus, GA 31709, Alan Morton Memorial Fund Honor ID 74793.
